I am not a huge fan of foundation or wearing a lot of make up in general. My daily make up consists of blush and bronzer, liner, mascara and lipstick. Though I do wear concealer and cover up on rare occasions, I don't love the way they feel on and definitely prefer to sport a clean face. Naturally, I take great care to insure my skin is in the best possible shape so that I can go make up free as much as possible. </i><i style="text-align: justify;">So, I wanted to take this opportunity to talk to you a little bit about my 5 skincare commandments. </i><br /><div style="text-align: justify;"><i><br /></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;">1:<i> </i>U<i>sed once a week, a glycolic peel makes your skin look radiant and improves the texture and tone of your skin! As I have mentioned before, I haven't always been as diligent about using sun block as I should be. So in time, this complete and total disregard for sun block combined with my obsession with tanning, left a bit of sun damage on my cheeks and nose. Since I didn't want to wear foundation to cover up these sun spots, I decided to try a glycolic peel in order to erase the evidence of my sun worshiping ways. I am sure we've all had those tired skin days. You know, those days when maybe we've stayed up a little too late the night before, or just had one of those exhausting, super busy days which left our skin feeling and looking a little blah! Well, here is my remedy to combat those skin blues:) Start by brewing some green tea ( I prefer to use fresh, loose tea as apposed to tea bags, to maximize benefits ), once the tea cools down, pour the tea into the ice tray and  place in the freezer. Normally, it takes about 1.5 - 2 hours for ice cubes to freeze completely. To use, simply rub a green tea ice cube all over your face ( make sure your face is completely make up free ), paying special attention to the under eye area. Once you're done, allow  your skin to dry naturally. I've tried a few different things like running and hiking for example, and for a while I was really captivated by both. But I get bored easily and once the novelty an excitement ware off, I feel trapped in a fitness routine. Well, that was the case until I discovered biking! Biking is never boring to me! I feel equally excited every time I bike and unlike with most other activities, given a chance, I could go for hours and hours. I have to confess, I haven't always been as good as I should be about wearing sun protection, and after riding for about six months, started noticing some sun damage on my nose and cheeks. So now, I use sunblock religiously and never leave home without it. </i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i><br /></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>Currently, I am using <b><a href="http://bit.ly/104KDtO" target="_blank">Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration face lotion</a></b> SPF 30 on my face. I love this particular one because aside from the fact that it smells amazing ( think exotic botanicals and light tropical fragrance), it's water resistant (up to 80 minutes) and keeps the skin moisturized without feeling heavy or clogging pores. I am also using <b><a href="http://bit.ly/1wHPwG8" target="_blank">Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Ultra Touch Radiance Lotion Sunscreen</a></b> SPF 30 on my body. Another current favorite, I love this product because it protects my skin, while keeping it really soft. The fact that it also happens to be water resistant (up to 80 minutes) is a bonus ( definitely comes in handy on my frequent trips to Palm Springs for some serious pool time). </i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i><br /></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>It's important to make sure that you are reapplying your sunscreen every two hours to ensure that you are properly protected. Of course, I also find myself consistently reapplying simply because I am just  little addicted to the fragrance and how luminous my skin looks after application :)</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; I repeat the same steps morning and night and the entire process takes me about 3-4 minutes. </i><i>I started noticing a difference after using these products for about a week, the dark spots on my nose and cheeks started to get lighter and I think by week 2 they were barely noticeable. Aside from that, since I have an oily t-zone, what I really like about them is that they do not clog pores, don't feel heavy on and don't make my face feel or look oily or shiny. </i><br /><i><br /></i><i>P.S. How is your week going so far? </i><i>Since I've gotten quite a few emails asking what type of skin care products I normally use, I wanted to take this opportunity to talk a bit about 2 of my current favorites. </i><i>I am sure I've mentioned before that I don't like wearing foundation and since I am pretty much walking bare face most of the time, great skin care products are simply a must! For the most part I have normal skin, with the exception of my t-zone, which tends to get a bit oily. Thought a little oil on our face is actually a good thing, I have to take really good care of my t-zone so that I don't get clogged pores. Of course my problem as of lately is that with my schedule being completely nuts, I haven't really had the time to just unwind and do something nice for my skin:) </i><br /><a name="more"></a><i>So, when Bioré reached out and suggested I take a moment to #BlackOutWithBiore, I though this was the perfect opportunity to take a break from social media, kick back, indulge in a little pampering and take a day all to myself:) During my black out, I got a chance to try the Bioré </i><i style="text-align: center;">Self Heating One Minute <b><a href="http://bit.ly/1puLLgy" target="_blank">mask</a></b> & Deep Pore Charcoal <b><a href="http://bit.ly/1oY8EKN" target="_blank">cleanser</a></b>. I started by washing my face with the cleanser, which left my skin feeling clean but not at all dry, like a few other deep cleansers I've tried. Next, while my face was still wet I applied the heating mask, wetting my fingers a bit to help activate the warming action even further. After about a minute, I washed the mask off with warm water.
